Synopsis:
The most famous pair of star-crossed lovers are re-imagined in this adaptation of Shakespeare’s play. In a Verona summer so hot the power grid is failing, Romeo Montague, Juliet Capulet, and their friends are looking for the meaning in their lives while their families remain locked in conflict. Created in response to the isolation of social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic, the story unfolds through narrative, as well as the immediate ways we communicate now: texting, social media, and virtual gatherings.
